Black Mountain Stables here in Jackson offers scenic, mountain side trail rides in the Mount Washington Valley throughout the day during summer time. Pony rides are also available from 10.30 am to 3.30pm.

For an exceptional adventure, take an hour’s evening trail ride up the mountain to a rustic cabin, have a hearty dinner, complete with a campfire and s'mores, sleep in the cabin or under the stars and wake up to a western-style, campfire cooked breakfast. Here visitors can enjoy 1 hour horse rides all year round in 70 acres of forests and pastures along the Saco River with panoramic mountain views.  Pony rides are also available by appointment.  In the Fall, why not take a romantic Victorian carriage ride for two or wagon ride for larger groups.
