Walk through this 800 ft. natural chasm past waterfalls and scenic pools to Avalanche Falls, once called Flume Cascade, located at the head of the Flume. There's a free 15-minute movie on Franconia Notch State Park and informative displays in the Visitor Center. |
Jackson New Hampshire Lodging
Several waterfalls can be found on the Kancamagus Highway. Travel west and explore Lower Falls and Rocky Gorge, alternatively, the Sabbaday Falls are just a 0.3 mile walk from the parking area. Franconia Falls can be reached via a 3.2 mile walk across level terrain, approximately 4 miles east of Lincoln. |
