The White Mountain National Forest is the ideal location for wildlife spotting, be sure to take binoculars, a camera and some bug spray. Moose watching locations in late Spring, Summer and Fall are along Route 302, north of Bretton Woods, anywhere on Route 16 in Pinkham Notch and on Bear Notch Road between the Kancamagus Highway and Route 302 in Bartlett. Moose watching tours with a guide can be arranged on request.
