From Boston via I-95:

Go north on I-95. |
 |
Take Exit 4 to the Spaulding Turnpike North, (this becomes Rt. 16N), to Conway. |

Continue to follow Route 16 (be careful where Route 16 takes a left at the second set of lights in Conway) through North Conway. After approximately 8 miles, routes 16 & 302 split in Glen. You will see Storybook Resort Inn on your right-hand side and Dairy Queen on your left. |

Take a right at the junction, continuing to follow Route 16 North for approximately 2.5 miles. You will pass by Story Land on your right; continue up the hill until you see the Jackson Covered Bridge on your right. |

Go through the Covered Bridge on Route 16A into Jackson Village, pass Flossie’s General Store on your left and the Village House can be found just beyond, also on your left. |
Southern approach to Jackson From I-93:

Take Exit 35 onto Route 3 North. Follow this road for approximately 10 miles until it intersects with Route 302 at Twin Mountain. |

Make a right turn onto Route 302 East and continue past the Mt. Washington Hotel into the National Forest and through Crawford Notch for about 25 miles. |

Watch for signs for Route 16 North. |
 |
At the intersection in Glen, turn left and approximately 2.5 miles north of this intersection you will see the signs for Jackson. |

Enter through the covered bridge on Route 16A into Jackson Village, pass Flossie’s General Store on your left and the Village House can be found just beyond, also on your left. |
Northern approach to Jackson From I-93:

Take Exit 40 (Bethlehem) and follow Route 302 East (your only choice). |

Go through the town of Bethlehem following signs for Twin Mountain and Bretton Woods where you will pass the Mt. Washington Hotel on your left. |

Continue traveling east on Route 302 through Crawford Notch and Bartlett. |
 |
On reaching Glen, turn left at the stoplight onto Route 16 North. Approximately 2.5 miles north of this intersection you will see the signs for Jackson. Enter through the covered bridge on Route 16A into Jackson Village, pass Flossie’s General Store on your left and the Village House can be found just beyond, also on your left. |
From Portland, Maine
Head West on Route 302; follow it through Center Conway. It will go right towards North Conway just before a set of lights.

Turn right at the next set of lights by Wal-Mart in North Conway onto the North-South Road. |

At the end of the North-South Road, turn left onto Kearsarge Road. |

At the light, turn right onto Route 16 and continue to where Routes 16 & 302 split in Glen. You will see Storybook Resort Inn on your right-hand side and Dairy Queen on your left. |

Continue to follow Route 302. Bear to the right where Route 302 joins Route 16 by the Bank of New Hampshire. |

Traveling by Car
The activities and attractions located throughout the Jackson Area are best explored by car. Bring your own, rent a car at any of the airports, or you may arrange to pick up a rental once you arrive in the area.
Be sure to watch for moose and deer while driving, particularly around dusk and dawn as well as during the night.

Traveling by Air
Jackson is served by four airports:
Portland, Maine (70 miles), Manchester, NH (115 miles), Boston, MA (140 miles), Burlington, VT (140 miles)
Logan Airport in Boston is the largest and offers the greatest choices of schedules and carriers as well as International service. All airports have rental cars available. A bus service is also available from Boston to Jackson with Concord Trailways.
Traveling By Bus
Concord Trailways offers service from Logan Airport and South Station in Boston to the Glen Ledge Corner Store located on Route 16, just one mile south of the Jackson Covered Bridge on Route 16.
Airport/Bus Stop Pick Up
Please make advance arrangements with us should you require onward transport to the Village House from the airport or bus stop.
