We are pleased to offer a selection of clean, flexible, pet friendly rooms and hope that our guests will do everything in their power to be responsible pet owners while staying with us.
Letting your dog run free
If you wish to take your dog out on a lead, there is a designated dog walk around the grounds of the Village House and if you would like to let your dog run free, there are 35 acres of town land behind the town hall across the street, in addition to several cross country ski trails and some pleasant fields. We regret that we cannot allow dogs to run free in the grounds of the Village House.
Leaving your dog in your room
Guests are permitted to leave their dogs in their rooms, though if you decide to leave your dog alone in your room, please make sure that he will not bark or be destructive to the room in any way.
We happily thank all our former guests that have been responsible travellers with their pets. They have made it possible for our tradition to continue.
Picking up after your dog
Please ensure that you pick up after your dog whilst staying at the Village House, place bags in the small yellow shed in the middle of the driveway.
