A traditional Victorian property with sweeping driveway and rolling lawns, the Village House makes an excellent choice for weddings, elopements or family reunions, whether you are looking for a small, intimate occasion with close family and friends or something on a larger scale.

Extensive gardens, a centrally located Victorian gazebo, private river frontage and wooded areas offer an ideal back-drop for your ceremony during warmer months with a beautiful tented garden reception for up to 70 guests right here, or maybe a horse drawn carriage ride to your celebration meal taking in the New England rustic charm of a favorite restaurant nearby.

Small weddings and celebrations for up to 15 guests can be hosted year round in our main inn with a candlelit ceremony held in the lounge followed by a catered meal or buffet served in the sun room or on the covered porch and patio area.

Available throughout the year, our elopement getaway includes everything you need for a very romantic alternative to a big wedding for just the two of you.  This special package from $699 per couple  includes:-

• Afternoon refreshments on arrival served in the lounge or on the porch dependent upon season
• Overnight accommodation for two nights in our Mystic or Plymouth rooms
• A personalized wedding ceremony in our grounds with authorized officiate

We know you will want to look your best for that special day, ask us about hair dressing, beauty treatments, pedicures, manicures, brow and lash tinting.  We can schedule appointments for you with Debony, our local full service salon right here in Jackson.

Want to gather the whole crowd for some together time once in a while?  Consider the Village House for your location.  Our main inn is a wonderful colonial property with 7 comfortable guest rooms, a lounge and sun room for social space, and our lodge is a converted barn with 6 self-catering apartments, some with kitchenettes, dining areas and balconies.  Go hiking, biking, swim in the pool, spend time by the river, relax on the porch or have a barbecue in summer.  Ski, skate, snowshoe, take a sleigh ride, relax by the fire or star gaze from our hot tub in winter.  Eat out at a local restaurant or order dinner to be catered in our dining area. the choice is yours.  There are lots of activities to enjoy here all year round and we are happy to make suggestions and assist with making arrangements for you ahead of your party’s stay with us.
